Tirumalagiri is a locality and a Mandal in the city of Secunderabad also it falls under Secunderabad Revenue Division, Earlier is a major suburb of Secunderabad, India. Trimulgherry is the anglicised name for Tirumalagiri. It is in the north of Hyderabad District.

History
Trimulgherry Entrenchment

Historically, Secunderabad constituted a combination of three villages namely, Tirumalagiri, Bowenpally and Marredpally. It has some historic buildings built during the British era like an old British Jail, a Medical college. Sir Ronald Ross who discovered cure for Malaria worked not far from this place at Sir Ronald Ross Institute of Parasitology.

TheRTA office, the office of the Transport Department, which serves entire Secunderabad Region (AP 10), is a major landmark. Many banks started operating since 2002, catering to the growing population of this suburb, like SBI etc..

A modern mall, Rainbow Mall has some good shops and restaurants, including Fab India. The old Monda Market was shifted during the TDP Govt regime near Hasmatpet lake. This suburb is well connected with roads. The Rajiv Rahadari (Highway) which connects Secunderabad to the northern Telangana districts of Andhra Pradesh passes through this suburb.

National Highway 7 (NH7) is 4 km from this suburb. There is a link road that connects NH 7 to ECIL 'X' Roads and further and it passes through this suburb. This junctions has become one of the major intersections in the twin cities. Many trucks use this road, causing traffic congestion during peak hours.

The closest MMTS Train station is at Secunderabad Railway station. Also Suburban Railway Station is Alwal Railway Station.

All RTC buses numbered 21 to 25 and 147 come to Tirumalagiri.
