Trillium ludovicianum
Trillium ludovicianum, the Louisiana wakerobin[1] or Louisiana trillium,[2] is a species of flowering plant in the family Melanthiaceae. It is found only in the south-central United States, in Louisiana, Mississippi, and eastern Texas.[3][4][5][6]

Trillium ludovicianum is a perennial herbaceous plant up to 12 inches (30 cm) tall. Flowers are dark red, purple, or dark green, sometimes with irregular markings. The plant grows in moist woods and floodplains.[7]
