Triller (app)

Triller is a social network and entertainment platform first released in July 2015.[2][3] The app is available for iOS and Android and follows a similar style to that of TikTok, another video sharing service. The app has over 120 Million downloads,[4] as a result of TikTok's ban in India.[5][6]

In April 2020, Triller partnered with musicians Migos, Marshmello and others to perform in a digital music festival.[7][8] Triller announced in July 2020 that the platform would host a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones.[9] Triller paid 'North of $50 Million' to host the boxing match.[10][11][12] The fight has been speculated as a method to get more users in an attempt by Triller to become more widely known and used by influencers.[12] The push has already had an effect in the video creator community with celebrities such as Bryce Hall and Hype House members moving from TikTok to Triller.[13]

gollark: Something like that?
gollark: If I had a problem with the UI I would just... write some CSS, or something?
gollark: Folders seem useless, I don't want private or unlisted pastes, scraping would be cool but not worth £50.
gollark: What's it good for?
