Tony Nelson (footballer)
Anthony James Nelson (born 12 April 1930 in Cardiff) is a Welsh former professional footballer who played in the Football League for Newport County and Bournemouth as a centre half.[1][2]

His father was footballer Jimmy Nelson who was born in Scotland (playing for the national team four times), raised in Northern Ireland and settled in Wales.[3]
