Tom Alan Robbins
Tom Alan Robbins is an American actor. He is best known for originating the role of Pumbaa in The Lion King on Broadway. He also appeared in the Broadway production of Head Over Heels in which he created the role of Dametas, Newsies, Sunset Boulevard, Jerome Robbins Broadway, Once Upon a Mattress, Threepenny Opera and Is He Dead?, a comedy written by Mark Twain, as Hans von Bismarck, a role which he originated in 2007. He has been on television shows including Seinfeld, NYPD Blue, Law & Order, The Good Wife, and Baby Talk (As series regular Dr. Fleisher).[1] He played Thenardier in the first national tour of Les Misérables.[2]

His Off-Broadway credits include the 2020 Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors in which he played Mushnick, On the Verge, Isn't It Romantic?, The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket, The Cradle Will Rock. He has been in the cast of Henry V as part of the New York Shakespeare Festival.[3] He is an alumnus of The Acting Company.[4]
Tom graduated from Lehman High School in Canton, Ohio. Tom graduated from The Juilliard School.
