Timothy Innes

Timothy Innes is an English actor, has appeared in several feature films including The Sense of an Ending and Daphne in 2017, in 2018, The Favourite and Ashes in the Snow . On television Innes has starred as Benjamin Lennox in Harlots (TV series) and as King Edward for seasons 3 and 4 of the medieval drama series The Last Kingdom.

Early life and career

Innes studies acting at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School for 3 years between 2012 – 2015, graduating with a BA Acting.[1][2]

After graduating, Innes appeared in several feature films, The Sense of an Ending and Daphne in 2017,[1] then in 2018, The Favourite and Ashes in the Snow .[1] In 2017, Innes landed a regular role as Benjamin Lennox in six episodes of the Netflix period drama series Harlots before starring as Edward the Elder (King Edward) in series 3 and 4 of the medieval drama series The Last Kingdom from 2018 to present.[3][4][5]

Music & Sports

In his spare time, Innes supports his brothers band `Joe Innes & The Cavalcade’, a post-Brexit indie-folk band from London, formed by singer/songwriter Joe Innes.[6]

Innes is a highly skilled fencer, as shown in various sword fighting scenes in The Last Kingdom. [7][8]
