Tim Fanning (basketball)
Tim Fanning (born c. 1987) is an American professional basketball coach, who is currently an assistant coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv of the Israeli Premier League and the EuroLeague.

Playing career
Fanning competed for Whittier College from 2003–2007. He then spent from 2007–2010 playing professionally for clubs in the Barcelona, Spain area. While playing, he took courses in coaching certification.
Coaching career
In 2014, Fanning was signed to be an assistant coach of the Nelson Giants of the New Zealand National Basketball League. After a few months, he was promoted to be the head coach of the Giants until 2016.
In November 2016, he signed a deal to be an assistant coach for the Israeli basketball team, Maccabi Tel Aviv.[1]
Personal life
Fanning was born in Oakland, California. He graduated with a degree in psychology in Whittier College in 2007.
