Thomisus spectabilis
Thomisus spectabilis, the white crab spider, is a small spider found in Australia and far east Asia.[1]

The body length of the female is up to 10 mm, the male 6.2 mm. With legs, the spider is around 3 cm across. Egg sacs are laid in a folded leaf. Cream coloured eggs are 1 mm in diameter, 200 to 370 in number.[2] This spider is usually seen white, though sometimes yellow. Legs and head appear almost translucent.
An ambush predator, often seen resting in flowers of its same colour. Prey is captured by the front two pairs of legs, which give the spider a crab like appearance.[3]
