Summary

The story takes place in a Latin American fishing village and mixes elements of science fiction and magic realism.[1] The lives of the villagers are disrupted by a sudden increase in supernatural activity and an influx of suspicious investigators.[2]

Production

Vertigo editor Shelly Bond encouraged Cooke to produce a collaborative work. Cooke proposed Hernandez, who accepted to write a series.[1] Dave Stewart colored the work.[3]

Publication

The first issue of the four-issue series débuted from Vertigo in October 2015,[2] with a December 2015 cover date.[1] It was one of a dozen titles Vertigo launched that month.[2] The last issue appeared on 27 January 2016 with a March 2016 cover date.[3] Following serialization it was to be republished in a collected edition.[1]

gollark: One actively used one, one which may or may not just be my desktop and which is turned off mostly.
gollark: The osmarks.tk primary server, hostnamed `loki` (this is before my new star-name hostnaming scheme was launched), only has ONE drive.
