The Spin (1989) is the seventh studio album from the jazz group Yellowjackets. The album was nominated for "Best Jazz Fusion Performance" Grammy Award.

The album, recorded in Oslo, Norway, demonstrates a more acoustic sound than the band's previous efforts, relying less on the use of synthesizers. It is also the last album with saxophonist Marc Russo as a band member.
