The Perfect Year

"The Perfect Year" is a 1993 song by UK artist Dina Carroll. It is originally taken from the 1993 musical Sunset Boulevard and was released as a single only. Later, in 1996 the song was included on her second album, Only Human. The song became one of her most successful songs, peaking at number 5 in the UK and number 4 in Ireland. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "The Perfect Year" reached number 17 in January 1994. In 2001, it was included on Carroll's compilation album, The Very Best of Dina Carroll. A music video was shot to accompany the single. It has a sepia tone.
