This is a list of adult non-fiction books that topped The New York Times Non-Fiction Best Seller list in 2016, in the Combined Print & E-books Non-Fiction category.[1] The most frequent weekly best seller of the year was When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi with 13 weeks at the top of the list, followed by Killing the Rising Sun with nine weeks.
