History
The Loop was opened in the summer of 2000 after the demolition of the Methuen Mall which had stood at the location for twenty five years. The original mall's failure followed soon after the opening of the larger Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, New Hampshire. The Loop is owned by The Wilder Companies, who opened a chain of shopping centers in Northborough, Massachusetts, as well as Kissimmee, Orlando and Punta Gorda, in Florida.
