The Adams Administration

"The Adams Administration" is the eleventh song from Act 2 of the musical Hamilton, based on the life of Alexander Hamilton, which premiered on Broadway in 2015. The song's music and lyrics were written and composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda.[1] The song describes the beginning of Hamilton's political descent as he clashes with the new president of the United States, John Adams.
