Tawhero is a suburb of Whanganui, in the Whanganui District and Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand's North Island.
Education
Tawhero School is a co-educational state primary school for Year 1 to 6 students,[1] with a roll of 139 as of March 2020.[2]
St Marcellin School is a co-educational state-integrated Christian primary school for Year 1 to 8 students,[3][4] with a roll of 50.[5]
Rutherford Junior High is a co-educational state intermediate school,[6] with a roll of 186.[7]

gollark: This isn't accurate. I've vaguely looked at graphs and the percent of people passing/getting high grades does not appear to have changed much since the 9-1 system was introduced.
