Commercial performance

"Take What You Want" became Malone's ninth top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at number eight and becoming Osbourne's first Billboard Hot 100 top 10 in over 30 years, making it the longest gap between top 10 appearances.[4] The song is also the first song to chart on the mainstream rock charts and hit the top 10 of the Hot 100 since Shinedown's "Second Chance" in 2009.

Composition

"Take What You Want" blends the modern trap and hip hop sound with guitar-based rock. Featuring chords in the key of C# minor reminiscent of Black Sabbath, the track featured many of the trademark musical styles of Malone, Osbourne, and Scott. The song includes a guitar solo at the end played by Andrew Watt

gollark: That reminds me. Don't star this message. This isn't some sort of reverse psychology trick where I try and get you to star it by saying not to. Just don't. Seriously. There's no good reason to star this message, so you shouldn't star it. Simple.
gollark: Of course, anyone can see running processes on osmarks.tk, but my laptop does *not* yet report to that.
