"Take Me Away" is a song by American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult, from the band's 1983 album, The Revölution by Night. The song was released as the band's 22nd single the same year, and reached #11 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.[1] A music video was created for the song and was featured on MTV.

Background
An earlier version of the song, titled "Psycho Ward" was being written by Canadian musician Aldo Nova, before Eric Bloom of Blue Öyster Cult offered to contribute some Lyrics, coming up with the chorus.[2]
