Syncope (genus)
Syncope is a genus of microhylid frogs.[1][2] Their common name is silent frogs (though species transferred from Chiasmocleis are called humming frogs). They occur in northern South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil, possibly Bolivia).[1]
