Susannah and the Elders (Veronese)

Susannah and the Elders is a late work by the Italian painter Paolo Veronese, dated to around 1580 and showing Susannah and the Elders. It is now on permanent display at the Palazzo Bianco in Genoa. Previous owners include the Marchese del Carpio, a 17th-century Spanish collector - it is first recorded as being in Genoa in the 18th century.
