Suprabhatha
Suprabhatha is a 1988 Indian Kannada language romantic drama film directed and written by Dinesh Babu,[1] making his first entry as a director. The film stars Vishnuvardhan,[2] Suhasini and Srividya in the lead roles.[3] The music was composed by Rajan-Nagendra and the dialogues & lyrics were written by Chi. Udaya Shankar. The film was presented by Charuhasan and produced by Prabha Raj.

The film upon release was declared a musical blockbuster and was widely appreciated for its content. The film created a record by winning 8 different awards for a single film in 1988. This was the first such film to have won multiple awards in Kannada cinema.[4] Dinesh Babu was awarded with the Best Cinematographer at the Karnataka State Awards in 1989 and Filmfare Best Director award in 1988. Actor Vishnuvardhan received multiple awards including the Filmfare Best Actor award Karnataka State Film Awards also.
