Studio 100 Animation is a global production and services company specialized in animation business and directed by Katell France. Based in Paris, France, it is a 100% subsidiary of the Belgium headquartered Studio 100, a leading company in the family entertainment business.

The company was founded in 2008; in the same year, Studio 100 acquired EM Entertainment for its distribution network and back catalogue,[1] and the Australian animation studio Flying Bark Productions. In 2012, Studio 100 Animation opened a Licensing and Merchandising office in Paris in order to manage their properties in France. In 2017, Studio 100 acquired Little Airplane Productions, and the following year, Studio 100 founded Studio Isar Animation in Munich, Germany to produce CGI feature films.

It would have taken decades for Studio 100 to build such a distribution network. Even more than that: EM Entertainment also has an impressive independent catalogue of content, with characters such as Maya the Bee, Vicky the Viking, Heidi, Lassie and Pippi Longstocking.
