It is home to companies and studios such as Video Assistant Referee hub and Premier League Productions for the Premier League, Apple Inc., Gilead Sciences, Canon Inc., Sharp Corporation, Marks and Spencer and GlaxoSmithKline.

History

Stockley Park was built upon a tip that was used by Londoners who would load barges on the canal and come to tip the industrial and private waste from West London. Top soil was added to the site to cover the waste and the modern offices were built on top.[1] Before that it was site of the Dawley Wall farm and gravel pit, and before that it was seat of John Bennet, 1st Baron Ossulston.

The estate was developed by Stanhope plc and designed by Arup Group from 1985.

Transport

The park is well served by public transport, by three local buses: routes A10 (Uxbridge and Heathrow Central), 350 (Heathrow Airport and Hayes, Asda) and U5 (Uxbridge and Hayes & Harlington).[2] It is also shown on the platform signage at West Drayton railway station.

VAR HQ

Since 2018, the Premier League's video assistant referee (VAR) operation has been run from IMG Studios, the home of Premier League Productions, a joint venture between IMG and the Premier League.[3]

gollark: I have about 500 lines of horribly entangled configuration files driving this, despite the original design of osmarks.net (formerly osmarks.tk) calling for it to mostly be a static website.
gollark: Now, the diagram says "nginx". Nginx is also an important part of this setup. It is a reverse proxy allowing me to run all this slightly crazy stuff on one IP, and encrypt with "HTTPS" apiotechnology.
gollark: It also got a HTTP endpoint, available at https://radio.osmarks.net/random-stuff/current-song, which dumps the status etc. information in JSON for the frontend to read.
gollark: So this gained a loop polling MPD - remember, it has a client-server model, so other stuff can communicate with it. Use of MPD turned out to be a good design decision!
gollark: But that isn't very relevant here.
