"Stars" is the first single released by Mark Owen for his fourth album The Art of Doing Nothing. It was released on 3 May 2013, eight years since his last single "Hail Mary", which was released in 2005.

Music video
The music video was filmed in Berlin, Germany and was directed by James Slater and produced by Frank Hoffman. It has a total length of three minutes and forty-one seconds. It features Mark Owen wearing an astronaut suit going to several places in Berlin like the mall, the supermarket and a club. At the end of the video it shows Mark returning home with a family (also wearing astronaut suits).
