Stare Miasto, Wrocław

Stare Miasto ("Old Town") is one of the five administrative boroughs of Wrocław, Poland, comprising the oldest parts of the city.

Old Town is one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments (Pomnik historii), as designated September 16, 1994 in the first round. Its listing is maintained by the National Heritage Board of Poland.

Parks

Stare Miasto has many parks with in its boundaries, including Park Juliusza Słowackiego, Park Staromiejski and Wzgórze Partyzantów.

Landmarks

Stare Miasto is home to many landmarks including the White Stork Synagogue, Philharmonic Hall (Narodowe Forum Muzyki), the distinctive red building of the Galeria Dominikańska and the Panorama of the Battle of Racławice (Panorama Racławicka). Stare Miasto houses most of Wrocław's museums, such as the Technology Museum, Museum of Architecture, Museum of Bourgeois Art, Museum of Pan Tadeusz and the Museum of Mineralogy.
