The chapel is a substantial building constructed of flint, brick and stone. It has a tie beam roof covered with thatch. The chapel measures 29 feet (8.8 m) by 16 feet (4.9 m). Its height, from floor to roof plate, is 11 feet (3.4 m).[2]

History

The chapel originated as a chantry chapel for the nearby Lindsay Castle, all remains of which have now vanished apart from some low earthworks.[3]
