St. Charles County Regional SWAT Team
The St. Charles County Regional SWAT Team is a regional team that encompasses members from the county law enforcement agencies, under the direction of the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department.
The objective of the St. Charles County Regional SWAT Team is to maintain a specially trained unit of officers for the purpose of responding to complex, difficult and unique situations, typically of a life threatening nature, where advanced training and the use of non-typical weapons and tactics may be required.
The purpose of the St. Charles County Regional SWAT Team is to support law enforcement agencies within the county of St. Charles and any other requesting law enforcement agency with a tactical response to critical incidents.
