Sriniwas Tiwari
Shriyut Sriniwas Tiwari (17 September 1926[1][2][3] – 19 January 2018)[4] was the former Madhya Pradesh Speaker and Minister. He advocated the separation of Vindhya Pradesh Region as MP.[5] He belonged to Tiwni village near his former constituency Mangawan in Rewa district. He lived in Amahiya locality in Rewa. Tiwari was a freedom fighter and a lawyer.
He was MLA and Minister beginning in 1956 when Madhya Pradesh state was formed. At that time he was one of the few young members of the legislative assembly. He is known as white tiger of M.P. He is also known as Dada.
He lost the seat in Sirmour assembly seat for Rewa in Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election 2008.
Tiwari died on 19 January 2018, aged 91.[6]
