Speed limits in Ukraine
The speed limit for cars in Ukraine are as follows:
- 50 km/h (31 mph) in populated areas (designated by white road signs with town/city name) [1]. Blue road signs with village/town names on it do not override road's speed limit.
- 20 km/h (12 mph) within residential areas[2]
- 90 km/h (56 mph) outside populated areas[3]
- 110 km/h (68 mph) on dual carriageways[3]
- 130 km/h (81 mph) on motorways[3].

New drivers
The speed limit for drivers with less than 2 years of experience is 70 km/h (43 mph).[3]
Motorcycles and automobiles with trailers
- 50 km/h (31 mph) in populated areas[3]
- 80 km/h (50 mph) otherwise[3]
- 50 km/h (31 mph) for car towing[3]
