Simon Daniel
Simon Daniel (born 1971) is a British inventor and entrepreneur. He is founder and CEO of the Moixa Group, which includes the Moixa Technology subsidiary, focused on smart home batteries and platforms to manage batteries for Utilities. Prior to founding Moixa, he spent eight years in Accenture's Technology practice and worked in research at IBM.[1] Daniel previously invented a folding PDA keyboard; Moixa licensed the design for use with PDAs including Palm, Ipaq, and Blackberry.
As founder and CEO of Moixa Energy, in September 2006, he brought to market an AA nickel metal hydride battery with a built-in Universal Serial Bus plug, allowing it to be recharged without a custom charger. See usbcell.
He received a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, where he was a student at Christ's College.
