Siegfried K. Wiedmann

Siegfried K. Wiedmann (1938 - ) is a German electrical engineer noted for his contributions to semiconductor technologies for integrated circuits.

Wiedmann was born in Plochingen, Germany, in 1938. He received the Diplom-Ingenieur (1963) and Doctor-Ingenieur (1967) degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Stuttgart, then worked at the IBM Laboratories in Böblingen, Germany and in the United States, ultimately becoming an IBM Fellow. Together with Horst H. Berger, Wiedmann received the 1977 IEEE Morris N. Liebmann Memorial Award "for the invention and exploration of the Merged Transistor Logic, MTL".

gollark: You know, it troubles me that mondecitronne.com has !!NO!! IPv6 IP as far as I can tell.
gollark: They do incurse into reality, yes.
gollark: That would just make stuff try one of them, I think.
gollark: I am considering implementing this with my VPS.
gollark: You would have to make the VPS periodically ping your website or something, and then if it is down for a sustained period update the DNS records via whatever API is available to point to itself.
