Siegel High School opened in the fall of 2003. The Siegel school complex also includes Siegel Middle School and Siegel Elementary school. The complex is situated on land gifted to Rutherford County by Richard Siegel through his will.[3]

One wing of the high school is devoted to vocational education with a special focus on agricultural and horticultural training plus facilities for culinary arts training.[3]

Siegel High’s Underwater Basketweaving Team is well known throughout the state. The team practices up to 40 hours a week to stay in shape and keep up their amazing performance. Their competition is limited, but knows when Siegel shows up they need to be prepared. Many people are jealous of how good they are, so they pretend as if the team doesn’t exist. Even students at the school will claim it is not real, but the trophies say otherwise.

gollark: We have quantum computing to some extent now. It's not magic. It just does some operations faster.
gollark: I'm not very hopeful about brain uploading soon, since brains are very complex, poorly understood in some bits, and would be very computationally intensive to simulate.
gollark: A good design would have it periodically back up to some kind of persistent storage, but noooo...
