Si Prefecture (Huai valley)

Sizhou or Si Prefecture (泗州) was a zhou (prefecture) in imperial China seated in modern Xuyi County, Jiangsu, China or its adjacent Si County, Anhui, China. It existed (intermittently) from 580 to 1912.

Geography

The administrative region of Sizhou in the Tang dynasty is in the border area of modern northwestern Jiangsu and northern Anhui. It probably includes parts of modern:
