Shock Me (Baroness song)

"Shock Me" is a single by American sludge metal band, Baroness. The second single off of their fourth studio album, Purple, Shock Me features elements of their traditional sludge metal sound, along with backing synthesizers to create a progressive rock aura. The single was the band's second ever to chart, reaching number 28 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

"Shock Me" was the band's first, and to date only, song nominated for a Grammy award. Nominated for Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, the song finished as one of the four runners-up.[1]

gollark: Eh, Rust makes big binaries and probably won't let me do some insane dubious hackery which could help.
gollark: If I rewrote it as a really compact C program with no external dependencies (except maybe libc) I suppose it would have a number of advantages.
gollark: So good enough, really. Making viruses spread is hard. I guess it could detect USB sticks or (if it was smaller) somehow append itself to executables you compile.
gollark: But it slightly hides itself and runs automatically and runs commands I send and whatnot.
gollark: Also, the tool I use to compile it to a binary isn't very good.
