Tama Station is served by the Seibu Tamagawa Line, and is 4.1 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Musashi-Sakai in Tokyo.
Station layout
The station has two opposed ground-level side platforms serving two tracks, connected by a level crossing.
History
The station was opened on October 22, 1917.[1]
Station numbering was introduced on all Seibu Railway lines during fiscal 2012, with Shin-Koganei Station becoming "SW02".[2]

In fiscal 2014, the station was the 81st busiest on the Seibu network with an average of 3,552 passengers daily.[3]
