The next year, She acted in Namma Veettu Pillai and in the Malayalam-language film Kumbalangi Nights.[2] In 2020, she played the title role in Draupathi, which has been marred by controversy and received negative reviews from critics.[6][7] But her performance fetched positive reviews with a reviewer citing that "Sheela Rajkumar who has impressed in 'To Let' and 'Asuravadham' plays a powerful character of a social activist and hers is easily the most natural and telling performance in the film".[8]
