History

Sharda University was established established through an act of State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh (14 of 2009). Pradeep Kumar Gupta is Chancellor of Sharda University. Yatendra Kumar Gupta is pro-chancellor of the university. The group has three campuses in Agra, Mathura, and Greater Noida. "Sharda", the name of the university, is another name for Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom
