Shahrinaw District
Shahrinaw District or Nohiyai Shahrinaw (Tajik: Ноҳияи Шаҳринав; Russian spelling; Shakhrinav) is a district belonging to the Districts of Republican Subordination in Tajikistan, lying between Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe and Uzbekistan. The Shahrinaw District borders on Tursunzoda District in the west, Hisor District in the east, and Rudaki District in the south. It is delimited by the Gissar Range in the north and is part of the fertile Gissar Valley. Its capital is Shahrinaw (Shakhrinav), a town 30 km west of Dushanbe.
