History
It opened in 1989, it was built on a 350-acre (140 ha) site, at a reported cost of sixty million dollars.[5] During construction, a berm was created that blocked any view from the outside. An estimated 21,000 trees of more than 200 varieties were planted. Initially, only invited casino guests of Steve Wynn or the Mirage Resorts properties could play the course, and tee times were one hour apart, so only a handful of groups played on any day. Today the course is open to all MGM Resorts International property guests.
Course
The course was originally 7,239-yard (6,619 m), extended to 7,560-yard (6,910 m) during a 2008 redesign, when a 7-acre (28,000 m2) short game facility was added. There are two homes within the grounds.
