Serra da Malcata Natural Reserve

Serra da Malcata Natural Reserve is a natural reserve in Portugal. It is one of the 30 areas which are officially under protection in the country. The reserve was established to in 1981 to protect the Iberian lynx, the area holds one of the last individuals of this endangered species in Portugal.
