Seni Awa Camara
Seni Awa Camara (born c. 1945) is a Senegalese sculptor [1] from the Diola ethnic group.[2] She was born in Bignona, where she still lives and works.[3] She creates her sculptures in clay in her front yard, then fires them in an open-hearth kiln before displaying them around her house. The pieces, ranging in size from 12 inches tall to 8 feet tall, represent personal symbols.[4] She has authorized the use of bronze castings of her work since the terracottas are too delicate to travel.[5][2]
Camara's work is in The Contemporary African Art Collection (CAAC) of Jean Pigozzi.[6]

gollark: Neither of those do *matter* much for normal use, though, really. Unless you like compiling things/gaming on your phone, or are very audiophile.
gollark: I have no idea about that, but given the lack of headphone jacks, meh.
gollark: They do have some nice things going for them, primarily that Apple's CPU design team is apparently hypercompetent and managed to beat everyone else massively.
gollark: They are very expensive, very locked down and not great for repairs.
gollark: Don't buy an iPhone, iPhone bad.
