Club career
Early career
Sebastian Tagliabué started his football career at modest Primera C side Club Atletico Colegiales from 2003 to 2008. Sebastián found it difficult to be recognized by teams in top divisions, however, after being essential in achieving the Primera C (fourth tier) championship with Colegiales, Taglibué drew the attention of other teams. He was surprisingly signed abroad, by Everton from the Primera División de Chile. Taglibué made his debut for Everton in a 5–5 draw against Deportes La Serena, where he scored three goals. After a spell at Everton where he scored 6 times in 13 matches Tagliabué moved to Deportes La Serena. At Deportes La Serena Taglibué scored 13 times in 27 matches and after one year, in 2010, he moved to Once Caldas where he was able to participate in the 2010 Copa Libertadores.
Saudi Arabia
After his unsuccessful spell at Colombia, Tagliabué moved overseas to Saudi Arabia after being approached by Saudi team Al-Ittifaq. Taglibué enjoyed a successful stint at the club where he scored 21 times in 44 matches from 2010 to 2012. His goal capacity drag the attention from Saudi giants Al-Shabab, who signed him in mid-2012. Taglibué has continued with his good form as he has scored 19 goals in 25 matches in the 2012–2013 Saudi Premier League season.
UAE
With his outstanding career in the Saudi Professional League, Tagliabué was offered to join UAE Pro-League side Al-Wahda and in June 2013, agreed to a five-year contract.
He scored a hat-trick on 14 December 2017 in a league cup match against Al-Wasl.
