Science, Industry and Business Library
The Science, Industry and Business Library (SIBL) is a research library within the New York Public Library system in New York City.[1] SIBL was created in 1996 when materials relating to science, business, and related fields were relocated from the Main Building (now the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building) to the former B. Altman and Company Building at Madison Avenue and East 34th Street in Midtown Manhattan. It is planned to close in 2020 with the reopening of the Mid-Manhattan Library.[2]
