Satellite Award for Outstanding New Talent

The Satellite Award for Outstanding New Talent was a special achievement award given by the International Press Academy between 1996 and 2012.

After the retirement of the Outstanding New Talent Award in 2012, a similar award was given as a Breakthrough Performance Award in 2013. In addition, a special achievement Satellite Award was awarded for Best First Feature in 2011, 2016, and 2017.

gollark: There are a *lot* of RSS readers. I use Miniflux, which is web-based.
gollark: It's better for newsfeed-type things than email, since you can just host an XML file instead of mucking with getting your server to send emails somehow, and it's "pull" rather than "push" meaning you don't have to rely on the other end to unsubscribe you.
gollark: A decent amount of sites offer it, since a lot of blog platforms support it, even Reddit has RSS capability still, and there are some things to bridge website updates to RSS.
gollark: For most stuff I just have RSS feeds instead of email, which works better.
gollark: I used to get those, but realized I didn't particularly care and turned them off.
