Sarah Song

Sarah Song (Chinese: 宋熙年) born 9 August 1985 in Guangzhou, Guangdong with family roots in Heshan, Guangdong) is a Hong Kong actress beauty queen who won the Miss Chinese International 2007. She comes from Sydney, Australia.

Education

Song attended the all-girls high school, Pymble Ladies' College and graduated in 2003. After the completion of her high school certificate, she attended the University of New South Wales(Australia) for a Bachelor of Commerce (Services Marketing – Tourism and Hospitality) which she then discontinued when she joined TVB.

Pageant career

Song competed in the Miss Sydney Chinese 2006 beauty pageant, where she won. She competed as No. 1 and was 21 years old. In 2007, she won the Miss Chinese International 2007 pageant and also received the Miss Chinese Culture (Miss Chinese Ambassador) award.

Later career

Song worked for TVB in Hong Kong as a host on a prime time television show. She was the main host on a current affairs and entertainment news program called Scoop 東張西望, as well as an English Lifestyle program called Dolce Vita on TVB Pearl. She occasionally takes on roles in drama series, but her main area of performance is hosting as she is trilingual (English, Cantonese, Mandarin). She is also a Master of Ceremony for many brands in Hong Kong.

Song left TVB in 2019.[1]
