Sana Javed

Sana Javed is a Pakistani actress.[2][3] Sana played the role of a Rape Survivor in Ruswai for which she earned critical acclaim. She considers it her best work yet.[4] She played the leading role of Sanam Ali Khan alongside Feroze Khan in Blockbuster series Khaani.[5] She also made her film debut with the socio-comedy film Mehrunisa V Lub U opposite Danish Taimoor in 2017.[6]

Early life

Sana was born on March 25, 1993 in Karachi After completing school and college from pakistan international school, she graduated from Karachi University.[7]

Career

Sana started her career as a model and appeared in TV commercials, she started acting with a supporting role in 2012 series Mera Pehla Pyar and did a small appearance in Shehr-e-Zaat in the same year. She rose to prominence with the role of an antagonist (Mahnoor) in the romantic drama Zara Yaad Kar in 2016 opposite Zahid Ahmed.[3] She made her film debut with the socio-comedy film Mehrunisa V Lub U opposite Danish Taimoor in 2017.[6] In the same year she was signed for the lead role in Rangreza alongside Bilal Ashraf, from which she opted herself out due to some reasons.[8] Subsequently, she garnered wide recognition and public appreciation for portraying leading role as Khaani in the romantic drama Khaani in 2017.[9] She garnered critical acclaim for her Portrayal of Sameera a Rape Survivor in Ruswai and Pakistan International Screen Award for Best Television Actress (Critics Choice).[10][11] In 2020, Sana Javed was appointed the captain of Islamabad Dragons in Jeeto Pakistan League in Ramadan Special.
