Saima Akram Chudhery

Saima Akram Chaudhry is a Pakistani writer and novelist. She was born on 23 June 1985 in District Rahimyar Khan, Punjab Pakistan. She is known for her work in Pakistani television serials. Her notable television works include Suno Chanda (2018) and Suno Chanda 2 (2019). She was also the writer of Muhabbat Ab Nahi Hugi (2014), Mera Dard Na Janay Koi (2014), Anaya Tumhari Hui (2015), Adhi Gawahi (2017) and Kaisi Aurat Hoon Main (2018).[1][2][3][4]

Early life

Chaudhary graduated from Islamia University, Bahawalpur. She earned a silver medal in Mass communication from Zakaria University, Multan. She has also done masters in Urdu literature from Islamia University and served as a lecturer in a college in her university days.

Career

She started her writing career when she was in 9th grade. She wrote her first story for children in Phool Magazine. Its name was "Aur Kahani Badal Gai". It was published in 1994. She started writing for adults in 2000, when her story "Titli Rasta Bhool Gai" was published in Heena Digest. Her first serial was Muhabbat Ab Nahi Hugi for Geo TV in 2014. She wrote Anaya Tumhari Hui in 2015 for Geo TV. Mere Ajnabi for ARY Digital in 2015, Mera Dard Na Janay Koi in 2015 for Hum TV, Adhi Gawahi for Hum TV in 2017. Her Romantic comedy serial Suno Chanda got immense popularity in both Pakistan and India. She has written the sequel of Suno Chanda, Suno Chanda season 2 also.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
