Saad al Ghamdi

Saad Al Ghamdi (in Arabic: سعد الغامدي, born Dammam, Saudi Arabia in 1967) is a Quran reciter and an imam. He memorized the entire Quran in 1990 when he was 22 years old. He is often noted for his acclaimed Tajweed.

Biography

He studied Islamic law in Dammam,[1] particularly in the school of Sharia, the source of Muslim religious commandments. In 2012 he was appointed as the Imam of Kanoo Mosque in Dammam before having the same profession in several mosques around the world, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Austria.[2]

During Ramadan 2009, Sheikh Saad Al Ghamidi was an Imam during the Taraweeh prayer in the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi of Madinah.

Personal life

He is considered one of the best reciters of the Quran in the modern age.

Works

Sheikh Saad has performed many recordings of Quran verses[3], known throughout the world and broadcast by TV channels like Iqraa TV, as well as by radio stations and on the internet. Also, a very successful businessman, Saad is worth 36 million dollars.
