Saad Bin Tefla

Saad Bin Tefla AlAjmi (also known as Saad Bin Tiflah or Saad Al Ajmi) is a Kuwaiti businessman and politician. He has notably been Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture.[1]

Political career

He has headed the Kuwait Information Center in London and worked as an interpreter and advisor in the Kuwaiti parliament. In 1999, he was appointed Minister of Information and Culture.[2] He later resigned and shifted to his business and professional career to being a journalist and university professor.

Professional career

He is currently a lecturer at Kuwait University and a journalist. He is also a local media tycoon and headed the Kuwaiti press group Tashkeel Media Group, but he is now just a shareholder.

He was director of the Kuwaiti Media Center in London and is currently a contributor to the London-based Arabic newspaper Asharq al-Awasat as well as other Gulf publications.[3] He is on the board of several organizations in the region and is the owner and publisher of the first online newspaper in Kuwait, Alaan.cc.
