Ron Amundson

Ronald Amundson (born 1946) is an American philosopher[1] currently Professor Emeritus at University of Hawaii Hilo, retired since 2012,[2] and an Elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.[3]

Education

He earned his B.A. and Ph.D at University of Hawaii in 1975.[2]

Research

His interests are evolutionary biology and he is recognized for his book The Changing Role of the Embryo in Evolutionary Thought (2005, ISBN 0521806992)[3] currently held in 592 libraries.[4]
