Roden, Drenthe

Roden (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈroːdən] (listen)) is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is located in the municipality of Noordenveld, about 16 km (10 miles) southwest of Groningen. Roden has 15,000 citizens.

Roden was a separate municipality until 1998, when it merged into the municipality of Noordenveld as a part of municipal reorganisations.[1]
